As the infinite vacuum of space has it, the fates of Guitarist, Eliaz Salaz III, and Drummer/ Producer, Kasey Chesnutt crossed. In early 2015 a fiery forge commenced and from the sands of time arose Glass Cannon. With blues and metal backgrounds, the two artists began to spill their intimate knowledge of heavy riffs onto Ableton. From grey matter to grey arangement, the two managed to create a sound that oxygen- ates well with fusions of ethnic strings, psyche- delic rock, and throbs of guttural bass.
As their mojo grew, the cosmos had but one more in-store for the talented duo. Holly Chesnutt was seamlessly woven into Glass Can- non as both the mystical vocalist and ukulele instrumentalist. Now a trio, they are vigorously conceiving music after boasting their latest EP release, Strange Toes, under the Wump Collective label.
Creating the space for the ultimate wonky niche in Texas, their music can ‘t be confined to one single genre- rather. With their musical backgrounds emits tones of dubstep, accompa- nying a possible sitar and maybe some heavy rock drum beats. The possibilities have been stretched and warped in both sound and design by the talented trifecta as they soar in high vo- cals and strings, only to simultaneously venture through murky bass and dark LFO.
